A large number of homemade zongzi were enjoyed during this year’s Dragon Boat Festival, each carrying a quiet sense of warmth and nostalgia. Although taste naturally evolves over time, this year’s zongzi felt particularly memorable. The seasoning and ingredients were simple, yet every bite seemed to hold fragments of festival memories.

 

The drawing presents a mountain of rice dumplings, reflecting the abundance consumed during the festival. Rather than simply documenting quantity, it becomes a visual accumulation of memory—where food, family, and time quietly gather into something tender and lasting.
