Still Life

Digital Illustration

39 cm × 32 cm

2026

This work explores the relationship between objects, memory, and music. The title Still Life refers to the traditional genre of art while also suggesting the idea of still alive. Objects that have lost their original function, or lives that have passed away, continue to exist in another way when they are preserved and remembered.

Music can also become a way of remembering. A single song may connect to different people, places, and experiences, carrying emotions that are unique to each individual. Because these memories are deeply personal, they are difficult to represent directly.Rather than illustrating music itself, this work uses objects connected to personal memories to visualize the images and emotions that music can evoke.
